Loved Nic's card class that was cool nice to do something different. Great weekend thanks Yolande and Lianne and our awesome teachers. Michelle I have been busy playing with brushes and am so addicted! One grumble cleaning up at the end is everyones responsibility we all have a good time our teachers make it a great weekend so seriously EVERYONE needs to help clean up (Karen (sis) this is not a dig at you as I know how much you did last time) you know who you are think about it thats all. While I was there I made a wedding brag book for my Nan! Only serveral hundred wedding pics to go LOL.

Finally the beginnings of my Secret Santa present for our work do on Friday (no more than $10 jokes even better) So my begins with an altered tool belt.

Doing a lot more scrappin this week and having fun teaching a few people new things and challenging them passing on all the things I learn here in the blogging world and sharing them with my friends who don't blog and telling them they should so they can learn more.

Thats it for now ERO initial visit on thurs in next week - no a bother for me but there is a vibe that is around mostly from ppl and systems that need a check up if this makes sense.

It was an awsome day I loved it, I had so much fun and it was just a really cruisey day. Seems so long ago now :D

The weather was perfect clouded over just nicely in the afternoon for the photos and the blossoms were amazing (no I did not pic my colours to match the blossoms it just happened to be a perfect match!).

So of course my dilemma now is how to scrap them LOL will pick brians at scrap camp for ideas.

Hope this satisfies your curiosity for now and I finally feel like I've had a holiday!

Mucking around with tickers today, LOL just know you all wanna know when I am PMSing but it is the easiest way for me to keep track, that is if we (I) can get over spending money so Stephen doesn't freak out about being on one income for a while.
We are both a bit mizzy at the moment btu at least accomplished a good clean to half the house today - and by that I mean bedroom (bed moved and vaccumned under, windows washed and walls wiped), bathroom (bath scrubbed, gross hair MINE! removed from plug, sink cleaned, walls wiped and cupboards sorted), Loo (cleaned and walls wiped), living room (vaccumned, papers removed, coffee table cleared) and Kitchen (dishes done!). So we are making progress just wish it would stop bloody raining!
Scrapped yesterday CJ off tomorrow spent money at NZ Scrapbook sale (well BG rub ons were nearly 1/2 price! - see why Stephen freaks out!) but had fun.
Got to seriously lose some more weight as you can see it is 8 weeks till we marry 5 KG would be great cause then I would look better in my dress which is Fab! Being sick and mizzy and Stephen being mizzy doesn't help I know how Stephen is about the whole thing shouldn't matter but it does to me and the fact he hasn't noticed i have lost 10 kg pisses me off!

Was going to do one on sewing my wedding dress but as it isn't finihed yet - i thought I better not jinx working on it this weekend.

Feeling like crap - nothing specific - cough, headache, nose alternately runny and block, hot and cold - but none to the extreme just enough to make me feel like poo, had yesterday off hoping i was going to nip it in the bud but no feel worse today so I am also going to have tomorrow off. I feel like I am constantly running low and feeling miserable, hanging out for the wedding just so I can have the following 10 days off LOL.

Nothing exciting going on here, that why no post nothing vaguely scrapping related happening really.

well the weekend was a success - not a single fight with Mum and a good third of the dress done!

Other news well one of the other things didn't happen it was just PMS for two weeks instead of 3 days and I had a big cry when it was all over but thank god I don't feel so darn exhusted now just tired, disappointed and well who knows how Stephen feels.

Things are busy at work, maybe some changes coming up there.

Disco tomorrow night.

No pay rise - opens a whole new set of issues - other issue was a non issue - I get to stay where I am - so as of July I get more responsibility but non of the benefits. Hmm the options sound simple - my letters and registration make me valuable - and a 6,500 payrise now and a further 4 next year sound worth it right? Question how happy will it make me - who knows but if I look at it as temporary 1-2 yrs then thats a heck of chunk more money for our mortgage, trying to let it go until after the wedding which is in just on three months next friday.

Stephens parents are home tonight and up in Auck next weekend.

Bit sad that the white gel pen doesn't show up so well - does anyone have any advice about white pens?

First time I've really written on photos, feeling much happier about writing in this think I will be even happier the more pages that go in my book, being good about taking my tablets too! Thanks Donna hope I get a couple as cute as yours.

On that topic had an interesting talk at work today S/F not Kindy - hmm can't really say anything here even though no one from there reads this but you know anyway had a proposal put to me to think about before my meeting with Barb next week (re me having finished!!!!!) and am not sure about it, choices to make and a factor to decide upon will be if I intend to have kids ASAP. Stephen who is as yet undecided on when (he loves to push my buttons) says if I want to say yes say yes irrispective of our decision as that may play against me for future options even if I say no to this. He has a point but it also gives me a perfect out to say no. Anyway I know this is very round about but me gots so thinking to do.

Also the clouds came back last night - bad like they use to be when I was teaching primary just wanted day to come, anyway confessed to anxiety at work to Jess and Barb they comforted me but also told me I was being a little silly (in a nice way) and today was good. 2.5 weeks to go.

So I wasn't going to do it but I had achieved so much and I didn't have uni cause of the power so this was my treat - Just have to journal my habit to make or break on the back of the page- might make this bit easy and non weight related.

Feeling better contemplating another MHD, is this wrong? I could get on top of the final one, busy weekend coming up - Hamilton on Sat and a baby shower on Sun (which I still have to make gift).

Anyway a bit of a weight has lifted and thats a good thing, how are things for you all?

Started on my CJ on Sat just got to drill the holes and do the rules page etc.

Was going to do Rhonna's 21 challenge, mostly cause I would like to do an art journal - see what I mean about not doing the things I should be and doing the things I want - but the time factor is seriously in doubt so may just backdate it.

Fire has roared all day and Stephen came home early cause of the power problems which was great. He brought work home but LOL he started to read his book instead.

Mental Health Day

Only postponing the inevitable but delayed anxiety is better than anxiety right now!

I use to suffer from panic attacks and was on fluoxitine for all of 3 months changing jobs definately helped but I do know that I am predisposed to this and sometimes it makes me worry more. I am not having that much fun on prac. I am not sure why can't place my finger on it, lacking motivation to do my final assignments hence MHD but still fear I won't get it done. I just want to do other stuff. Plus my house is a total mess and I hate condensation, Stephen's parents arrive home in 2 1/2 weeks which is great, only they've not seen our house yet so feeling that a major clean is in order.

Nuff of that miserable stuff.

Here is a sneak peak of my wedding fabrics l-r donna karan ivory silk, dk ivory georgette over silk, dk georgette, dk gerogette over sage dupion silk, sage dupion silk.

My bridesmaids are having the green for their skirts and a bodice from the ivory of my dress with georgette overlay, and obviously mine is the ivory silk - the don't scan so well so once I've got things going will take photos.

Trying to think of the good things like this.

My bro has found a flat so he is only with us till next weekend - I love him though and the dishes have been done :D

Oh and yummy dinner if you guys have not made the pumpkin and chicken dish of food in a minute make it - it is the best winter dinner.

Thanks for the hugs, hmm Donna will see what I can do about Dan, Thanks Yolande. It is just a yucky feeling that I do know will go away.

Poor Me

*warning this post is a little whingy

Having one of those days where there is too much that you have to do and not time for the things you want to do - hence the reason I am here blogging.

My brother moved back in yesterday which is fine, but I am getting a little frustrated already first having gotten breakfast and lunch no one is yet to do the dishes! My kitchen is tiny and trying to get dinner (now in crockpot) and making a banana cake (to many bananas) - which I was really looking forward to. So thats fine its done made my cake and asked Craig to take the cake out as Stephen and I went out there were only 5 mins to go, told him that plus he is a capable cook so wasn't worried. Get home - hmm not quite the right banana cake smell, Craig is like "didn't hear the beeper so it was in a bit long - hmmm top very Dk Brn, bottom turning black and not even ok in the middle - I was p%$##@ cause I was so looking forward to it cause like I say to many jobs to do that I don't want to.

Now I've got my assignment to do for tomorrow and so not in the right frame of mind - why is it the closer we get to finishing things the more we drag our heels?

Oh and bit sad with my Mum cause planning a wedding is not much fun if other ppl are not really interested especially when I would have liked to have run away in the first place. Anyway she just doesn't seem very excited or interested, more a bit frustrated with it all, yet a big part of what I am doing is not only for me but for her too. My bridesmaid are in Tga, and its not really that there is lots to do I just don't really wanna do it by myself so am feeling a little lonely which is silly and this is the poor me part.

Anyway feeling a bit fragile TTOM and all hence needing the cake and might just have a wee cry.

I was early going to kindy so stopped down at Browns Bay to take some pics of Rangi as thats where we were headed today.

It was great fun and the kids were great, but the bus fumes were bad on the way back and gave me a headache. Today I am finally half way through my practicum yay.

Really really tired today Puss has been stealing the blankets at night and so I've not slept that well the last too nights but since lost is about to start - don't you just love pause on My Sky I ought to go.

Thanks Yolande for your cover on Up2Scrap, I brought one of these before the mag came out only not done anything with it - the flowers look better IRL.

I ought to be doing more pages at the moment but I've having fun do this so I'm not :D I'm going to do one for Stephen too just have to get the right papers though. Hey who buys off Blue Bazaar? What is their shipping cost usually like - their sale stuff is awesome just wondering if postage makes it worth it though?

Been mucking around with some digital photos - really really want to get Photoshop after Michelle TW demo, but there is only so much that can be done on our photo editor.

I love ribbon, I always have Mum use to have an old make up box full of ribbons and laces (I have it now of course) that she used in here sewing, to me it was a treasure chest, I remember the excitement of pulling out the ribbon and putting bows in my hair. I guess this was the start of my love of all things pretty and decorative. I will confess I also use to collect single sheets of stationary (I hated writing letters I just loved paper - hmmmm a theme occuring me thinks) when we would go to what became DEKA in Hamilton - out the back of Collingwood court now the Library, the would sell single sheets of pretty stationary and I would spend my pocket money on it. Is it any wonder I became a scrapper? Took this pic as I put my ribbons back in their jars one day the offic will be sorted and I will post pics - oh now that sounds like a good SO challenge guys.

Anyway success of the day Calico dress sewn up in just over 2 hours (no lining though an roughly done) it looks right! And it fits well once I've brought me bridal underwear. So stoked now I still got over 3.5 months to get it done for real! :D Sweet as.

Spent my voucher already getting the SOS # 1 kit which I amr eally looking forward too. I also brought a clock to alter today. Just have to make up my CJ for recipies.

As you can tell I am having a really good day today - plus tomorrow off! Colour me stoked - thanks memory fairy.

I got up that early this morning - what am I nuts? Saturday of a long weekend and I'm awake at 5am!

I got up to go to the loo and thought I would stoke the fire and see if I could get it going again so instead of just chucking on some wood I sat and waited for it to get going so by then I was awake. Stephen also has the flu - man flu, so he has slept most of the day and has been very unsociable.

Washing - done
Office tidy - well sort off

So aside from the huge pile of dishes in the kitchen - the dishwasher is sick, my day has gone well.

Should have posted yesterday - I had such a great start to the day, killing some time as you do checking sites and I found out I won the months Scrapbook Outlet challenge Yay - it was my Urban Lily challenge from Scrapcamp celebrating our engagement.

Bit crabby tonight, jus tired as after 8.5 hours of Practicum I went to work for 1.5 hours cause Jess was sick and the couldn't find any relievers and all the shift have been muck round lately so I wnet in to do closing. Wondered why I was doing at 3:30 as I was tired sunny and warm today which gave me a headache, however it was neat to go and see my kids and play, I miss them and they are growing!

Then got home and was starving as it was suppose to weigh day but as I worked late did not go to meeting, not that I strave weigh in day just eat lightly LOL the things we do - anyway by 6:30 was straving and got a bit crabby with Stephen, actually got crabby with each other - bring on the weekend!

Keen for bed, was going to have a scraproom tidy but it's a likkle cold in there and the fire is going in a the lounge and Stephen is in the lounge so I am staying to snuggle instead.

My brother might move back again - his flattie is going back to the UK - sounds dodge and he is not keen to have the lease in his own name so he may move back until he finds a place, which will be cool for $.

Oh we might have found somewhere for Honeymoon - anyone stayed at Endsleigh cottages in Hawkes bay the look cute and nice but nothing better than someone whose been. LOL gotta get a dress done first I guess.

Anyway thanks for the nice comments Trina and Donna, I actually think it's my fav page now just love that paper!

This is my LO I started at camp and finished last night, I actually think I preferred it without the Dymo but had a couple of comments on - what did you say? - so added them. I kinda thought the photos told the story but if you don't know I'd never been snowboarding you wouldn't know this is how I spent my day, unlike Stephen who clearly can.

Anyway still wishing I was back at work, got held up by roadwork traffic this morning in spite of leaving early - and I HATE being late but to have it commented on kinda sucked big time when I am normally there early or same time as my AT, worse still traffic is not even cause anything is happening at roadworks, there is no reson for the traffic. ARRRGGGHHH. I just wanna go back to work.

My stuff from the weekend is still spread out in the living room LOL big job this weekend

Uggh 5 1/2 weeks to go on practicum, I am enjoying it I just miss my work! Yes I am feeling alright, but I miss my kids and my workmates and I just want practicum to be finished. I find Prac so frustrating because I just want to get stuck in but you always feel as though you need to hold back because its not your place.

Oh I just so want to get stuck in and scrap now when really I should be doing other stuff LOL but think I might tonight, just getting the fire going so it will be nice and snuggly, and try to finish my He Said She Said LO.

My own fault , after going to scrap camp I did not get to bed until well after 10 last night then talked to Stephen for ages about his work stuff, so am quite tired today, and I've got uni stuff to do but LOL for once I would rather blog, and besides am not mizzy at all.

OK for those of you not at scrapcamp the past couple of months have been busy my Grandmother is all settled now it's just wedding stuff to do!

Update on that in the process of cutting out the calico mock up of my dress so next weekend will be busy sewing it up to be fitted, Mum is stressing out about it more than me I think. Bridesmaids skirts half done, catering finalised, photographer finalised, just need some money for a honeymoon think Sydney is out of the question 3 grand is too much me thinks only half that. Any suggestions on nice places round Nth Island to stay at? Thinking Hawkes bay for 4 nights.

Anyway on Practicum at a Kindy at the moment, 2 assignments to do then its all over red rover, so in 5 weeks I will have my piece of paper then I can write Fiona Brock BEd DipT (Primary) Grad DipT (ECE). Hows that for a mouthful. Now I am trying to encourage Stephen to do his Engineering degree he has his NZCE, just depends on how much can be cross-credited.

Clever girls!

Donna wish I had known when you stopped in this arvo - oh hope I get to check out your goodies!

Stephen's parents are fine and have moved away from Carins to near Mount Isa, Mum was ready to come home yesterday and Dad probably would have driven all the way to Melbourne to put the bus on the boat but they have had a good rest and feel better but can't wait to come home in a couple of months.

Went to this cool meeting last night, the Paua Centre has funding to do the Ed leadership programme and we had an intro meeting last night, some cool ideas and really excited about doing this and am positive that we have a great team to take this prof dev. really far.

Anyway have been boring this week.

I wanna get off!

Life is passing by way too fast, I gotta catch my breath! After all weekend down in Cambridge shifting Nan which if I thought it was no fun for me I can't imagine where my Mum is at right now. They are going away next weekend for 10 days on a cruise which should be relaxing but the house (that Nan left) does not get taken over until the 28th and we still have lots to clear out. It must be so hard, being honest a lot is rubbish and it is that rubbish but it is 80 years of Nan's life it is hard to look at it like that, it's sad really. My Nan is fine, she lives with constant pain but is strong as an ox an will carry on for years out of sheer stubborness, so in a way we get to appreciate her things while she is here which is cool but she wants to give it all away and none of us have anywhere for it.

Sorry nuff maudlin about my family but needless to say the next month is going to be busy, and I need to find a way to make things easier for my Mum.

Nic was writing about the cyclone this morning, Stephen's parents are in the Tablelands, we haven't heard from them but we are sure they are fine, they are traveling around Oz for a year in their bus. They got through the Bali Bombing fine so a piddly cyclone is nothing.

Got to do my scrapcamp forms.

Will do the tag thing tomorrow or Wed as at meeting tomorrow.

Stoked to see ppl completing the challenge and having work go on the gallery at TSO yay for us - someone has to think of a harder one next time.

Anyway off to Mum and Dad's to help my Nan move this weekend should be interesting, she is going from a 3+ bdm house on huge section to a (very) lge 1 bdm apartment - LOL and we thought it was bad moving her from a 5+ farmhouse 10 years ago! That and the fact she does not want to sell anything means we will come home with a trailer full. It is sad but the house was way to big for her on her own and it was her decision to move which should make life easier for Mum (who shoulders most of the responsibility). At least there will be other ppl keeping an eye on her.

Hey all, thanks for the comments on my first LOs, and the info about printing - now who can help me with the best way to scan LOs, I know it will look neater and then you won't have to see my floorboards (which I love BTW) but taking a digipic is so much easier.

I issued a challenge today on TSO an easy one using 2 (or more) pp (thanks Donna) from different companies and here is the result.

Now I must go tidy up my mess I left and then actually bother to get myself out of my jammies, think I will even go get those pics developed since it is late afternoon now.

First and Second LOs

Ok so this is my first LO that I did at a class at NZ Scrapbook (Jan 04), the colour overlaps are where I actally wanted to cut a strip out of photo (not crop) but tutor thought that a little difficult humph!

On to my second done the following day which has still not been finished (no journalling!) I use to really love this one, mostly because I LOVED the photos, I still kinda like it just needs more doing to it and wish wish wish the CS was Bazzill! And no the whole circle thing does not bother me :P

I did a couple more after this then nothing for oh about 8 months except gift albums then my sis and I did dad's retirment one in Dec 04 and my bro's 21st July August 05 (more gifty type albums in between) then I started on my wedding planner album and then the latest stuff so my 5 LO's and a canvas in 3/4 weeks is quite good.

Sick AGAIN!!!!

Oh man I only had 2 sick days all of last year and now I've had 2 in 3 weeks! This better not be sign of the year to come!

I have got the awful cold, throat thing going around at the moment thanks to a few lil darlings at work! Went to work yesterday, felt OK but the worst think is that paitience is in short supply so hence day at home in PJ's. Think I am feeling OK though because I did a masive stock up on sinutab, vitamin C and lozenges yeasterday, hate taking drugs but hate taking time of work more, so am taking sinutab at night - so I can sleep and part way through the day so hopefully I will be back on track tomorrow.

Anyway just slobbing out as you do and checking out lots of things online, because as much as jobs need doing round here I am sick and only useful for blogging, surfing and maybe some scrapping!

Has anyone seen this http://scrapboxx.com/forum/index.php?showforum=70 it's an online free photography course, worth looking at for some ideas and challeges for new photos to scrap - haha like we need anymore of those!

Wondering if I can sneak up and get photos developed when at home sick? Nothing worse than being busted by a parent when you're sick at least I sound sick this time. Why did I use that term busted since I am actually sick - you all know what I mean though right.

Have been thinking about printing my own photos which I have done for gift mini albums but not for other ones, just wondering about the quality - who does this at home and do you use a photo specific printer? What about the inks and paper? I am not normally so fussy but the one thing I want to last out of all my scrapbooking is at least the photos!

Will stop rambling and go be creative, or at least upload my first LO.

BTW - this is Sami, the little girl I nannied for in Jamaica and her little sister Dani is the little girl in my first blog LO - Just in case you think she is mine - no rugrats yet thats what the honeymoon is for LOL if I can just bring Stephen round to my way of thinking - smart boy bought himself some time by proposing last year.

I am in BIG trouble

When DH to be wakes up I am in the shitake mushrooms! Went to bed early as a result of last nights Tired and crabby post but couldn't get to sleep but DH to be did, he was bugging me as only DH's can do when they aren't actually doing anything - or is this just me? So here I am online.

So why are you in trouble I hear you ask?

Well ....... Just found out I didn't actually need a Credit Card to shop at TSO (oh hope no one else gets in trouble with this piece of valuable info), as DH to be has our household one and it is chockka with my uni fees. Hmmm you can imagine what happened next!

To put it nicely when I get a bit cross I like to shop.

The good news is that it was only $108.90, not a major but not frivolous either, however if the shitake is that deep it can be placed aside for my hundy which I WILL get in the next 2 weeks so really I am only planning ahead (thanks Lara for the idea) right.

Tired and crabby

Late nights are catching up on me so just a quick post for anyone who might be interested - lost 500g this week a pound of butter which is good but not as good as I deserve for my week - there have been so many temptations. Like today we had a b-day cake for one of the kids and there is usually leftovers for the teachers chocolate log my fav always use to have this as my b-day cake, anyway was trying to figure out how I was going to resist this when the little boy whose b-day it was did it for me! When he blew out his candels he sprayed it! Just a little but enough to make me stay well away! Who needs willpower when you have spit. Oh Lara I love my job LOL.

Anyway night all, will definately get some scrapping done this weekend.

Nappies

I was on nappies today - my day was poo! Thats pretty much it.

No seriously the day itself was great but if you all think toilet training just one child at a time is hard enough try 8! Some days are great an all is as it should be - in the toilet - others aren't and today was one.

Thanks for the cool comments regarding my weightloss, weigh-in is tomorrow so will let you know how I do, have a feeling it will be one of those weeks where I've been really good and deserve to well but the loss won't reflect that some how - oh well Sh*% happens (no pun intended).

Stopped at LSS and got some paper but got stuck watching lost and am really tired so now need to go to bed - oh well at least I have paper ("but dear you already have paper" DH to be cries) to get me going in the weekend. I agree girls the shopping is an enjoyable part of all this scrapbooking business :)

Parents night and disgraceful pants

Well parents night is over and done with went well and had some great comments especially the ones where parents say its like a big family and never for an instant even on their child's worst days have the ever wondered if they would be OK because they know they will because we love them. It was great to hear also how much they appreciate the learning stories and portfolio pieces we write.

Other than that I got told my jeans were disgraceful today - in the nicest possible way for the nicest possible reason.

Not you might think because of holes, stains or rips no because they are getting too big!

I heard approximately the same thing from two ppl, Lisa a parent who is a friends said "Fiona you should think about buying some new clothes soon for the in between stage" I was stoked to reply "these are my interim pants!!!!" Then one of the girls I worked with told me they were disgraceful - Which made me feel good and bad at the same time, I don't think they are that bad they are only 3 weeks OLD!!! In that time I have only lost 2 Kg and they fit well when I bought them I guess that 2 kg came from the right places hahahaha. Anyway will have to buy new clothes but I want scrap supplies :'( hmmmm might just have to do more washing during the week.

Insomnia

Arrggghh had one of those night last night, you go to bed about ten talk for a bit turn out the light and no sleep! Then I got a song stuck in my head tried to think of another, got that stuck in my head, changed it then I was like a regular radio station for about 4 hours - it must have been after 2 when I got to sleep only to get up at 6:30 - my one early shift had to be on a Monday!!!! To make matters worse I feel like a big meanie because I wouldn't let Stephen sleep properly he drove me nuts just because he could sleep and I couldn't and every slight snore made me elbow him and go "stop snoring!!!" Guess it was just one of those nights.

Anyway today was not so bad as I thought it would be, and hopefully will sleep well tonight, as I have a parent's night at work tomorrow. Fun! Though will probably have to fill in a bit of time between shift ending and meeting and not really worth going home so gosh darn it will have to pop to LSS - its open till 6 how convenient HAHAHAHA

Thanks for all your comments, at this stage think it will be scrapcamp, my sister sounds keen so it should be cool.

Anyway the most creative thing I did all day was splatter painting with the kids ala Jackson Pollack and so have purple, silver and red metallic paint all over me - did I mention I had to go to uni straight after work LOL oh well at least I love my job.

Canvas for Doms

Well here it is Donna!

Not quite finished as Doms is in England and her baby was only born on Wed so I will send it and she can fill it in (thanks to Yolande for the fab idea) The second b even has a little plastic protecting the top so it can be stuck to the photo. I love pink, green and purple - the green on the canvas is the same colour as a wall in our room I love it!

Anyway had a really good night last night had not caught up with Jody in ages so that was cool - loving the PG belly Jods, weird thing is my other friend Jodie also a teacher is only about 2 weeks behind Jody, really crazy as I've only taught at two primary schools and at both my best mate was a Jody/Jodie and now both are PG.

Not quite the creative day I thought it would be - my scrap room is such a mess now as it always seems to be! I have a page I want to finish but, I dunno I don't really like it anymore hmmmm.

Me thinks I am spending way to much money on this craft and not producing much could be I like to shop?

BTW is anyone else thing about going to Scrap Camp in Roto Vegas, What about Crafting Connection in Wgtn? What about SENZ? Dilemma can't really afford all (must buy supplies you know :P) so does anyone have any recommendations as to which to go? LOL everyone will have differing opinions but as have only been to SENZ I would love some feedback on the other two.

Thanks Donna for sharing such an awesome scrap canvas, my challenge for the day but first that pesky housework must be done - no really it does we have friends coming for tea and since they have not seen our new house.....

Just asking and putting out there the question how many ppl are going to scrap camp e-mailled Yolande last night - she is really sweet and encouraging - and am now really wanting to go, so long as my sis will come too.

Anyway time, tide and housework want for no one, will go get busy and then create and hopefully have something to show for it tonight or tomorrow.

I'm Back!

Am back!

So now just under 7 months to go, I've lost 8kgs in 9 weeks (official start date at WW) and everything is well in the world.

Our house is great, we are still getting there in terms of unpacking - you know the boxes you stack in the garage and they become 'roundtoits' LOL we can almost get the car in hahahaha.

I can't believe daylight saving is almost over, its been too hot to enjoy our deck as much as I thought and we haven't had that house warming yet - where did the summer go?

On another front, I have been inspired to get back into this after reading some fellow scrappers blogs and after participating in the http://www.scrapbookoutletnz.co.nz forums - lawd but I am shrinking at the fact I actually became part of the competition for the design team everyone's sites and their work is amazing - I have much to learn - teach me please!

Anyway should go and do some creating - or some housework - what a tough decision!

Ellerslie Flower Show

We went to the flower show yesterday, I was a little disappointed, it was not as big as I thought and there were mainly just shops and stalls. It was interesting though and I would go again, just not every year.

I did get some Hapene for my bouquet which will look cool I still have to get the colour for the flax roses sorted, must get to the pharmacy, I can see the days till we get married going by far too fast. I have got lots to do not the least of which is loose some weight!

Arrgh don't want to go down that track as I get all upset about it but it is my own fault.

Anyway I am sooooo very tired bit grumpy and way to much to do, was suppose to do so packing today but never got to it - Only 5 more sleeps until we are in our new home!

Hmmm this is not working

Starting to think that this may not be working, suppise to motivate me but don't want to share this with anyone which kind of defeats the purpose of doing this - arrggh I don't know.

Anyway it is only 9 days until we move yay but starting to stress thinking aout how busy the next few weeks are really going to be and am soooo tired right now, and sorting out yucky insureance - they ask some stupid questions and I don't get why they ask height and weight for life insurance but not for medical - go figure, this of course had made me a bit mizzy but then this morning weighed the lowest I have in a long time.

Anyway on a more exciting from have mostly sussed out the flowers for the wedding, theya re going to be blue flax roses, had some sent yesterday as a sample, they are a little dark but look so cool and they won't be hugely expensive!

Only 2 weeks 2 days until practicum is finished, which will be cool though will probably miss the babies when I go back, just like I miss my kids from Summerfield now.

Motivation

Thought I would start this to share my excitement about all the things hppening in our lives and kick my butt into gear about looking fabulous when we get married a few kilos each month isn't too much to expect is it. Well it is if I don't do anything about it!

We own our house in two weeks YAY and we move the day after, so excited wish it would hurry up and get here I don't like living in a half packed house. Once we've moved we can have our house warming/engagement party on our lovely big sunny deck.

I spent a little money today to try and motivate myself got my eyebrows done, feel better now and next week I am going to have a facial, then after we move I will get my hair and nails done, the I will look good and feel better and get moving.

Only one assigment to go - I must start it this weekend, have had loads of time to do it but having such a big gap between assignments causes motivation to drop - gee see a common thread here? Then have got more yucky reflections to do uggh! oh well only three weeks after this to go YAY, two until my visit then it's all over and done with for the year. Only two papers and a practicum to go after that WAHOO.

Anyway will go do some work and get tea ready before Stephen gets home.
